Apple Cider Spice Cake Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cloves
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup apple cider
1 cup seedless raisins
How to Make Apple Cider Spice Cake Directions
Preheat oven to 350 ° F.
In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Alternately, add portions of dry ingredients and apple cider.
Stir in raisins
Pour batter into a greased tube pan.
Bake for 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Optional: Top with vanilla frosting.
