Pumpkin Cheese Pie Recipe Description

This pumpkin cheese pie recipe uses a tasty graham cracker crust, to hold a delicious blend of pumpkin and cream cheese. And it has just the right amount of spices. The result is a rich and delicious dessert that you can make and serve all Fall long right up to Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Cheese Pie Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup, plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 9 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree, cooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 1 cup sour cream

How to Make Pumpkin Cheese Pie Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Stir together, graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  3. Mix in melted butter or margarine.
  4. Pat mixture into a deep, 9-inch pie plate.
  5. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and 3/4 cup sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  6. Add vanilla and cream cheese. Beat until smooth.
  7. Stir in pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
  8. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie shell.
  9. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven, and let stand for 10 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile, combine sour cream, 2 Tablespoons sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  12. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  13. Spread sour cream mixture on top of the pie.
  14. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
  15. Chill before serving.
